STROMBUS LISTERI (LISTER'S CONCH)
Strombus Listeri is a thin light weight shell. It has a smooth curved body. Its apertural lip extends outward. The outer edge is parallel with shell axis and ends with a finger like projection. This species belongs to the Conch family.
Habitat. The Strombus Listeri, sometimes called Lister's Conch is found in the Indo-Pacific region, ranging from the Indian Ocean east to the northern coast of Australia/New Zealand. Prefers deep water and is considered semi rare.
